I bought this for myself in the Golden Camel. I love love love the quality. The color is just as it appeared in the photo. Great width and length (I'm 5'8). The feel is so soft. The feel is just like my friends pashminas but she paid alot more for them. Fast shipping (received in 4 days). I will be buying more soon from this seller for next season!!!!

I ordered this stole to wear at a formal event. I wanted white, but the closest color available appeared to be the ivory. It is just slightly off-white, and exactly as it appears in the photo. It is perfect! It is of superb quality, spotlessly clean, carefully packaged, and arrived very promptly (in a few days, with standard shipping). It is very soft to the touch, finely woven, light yet warm. I am extremely allergic to sheep's wool, but not to goat's wool (pashima & cashmere). I have had no allergic reaction to this stole, so I know that it's the real thing! The combination of pashima and silk makes for an extremely elegant fabric. It is large enough to wear as a stole, yet drapey and light enough to wear as a wrap-around neck scarf. I am thrilled with this item, and plan to order several more for myself and as gifts.

I love the shade of red of this pashmina. The service was fantastic and I can't wait to wear it with many outfits. Thank you for having just what I wanted, only wish that I had ordered more. The price was reasonable as well.

The last pashmina I owned, which I bought in London (NOT from Cashmere Pashmina Group), lasted beautifully for over ten years. Finally I decided it was time for a new one, so I purchased a pashmina shawl from Cashmere Pashmina Group at the Hilton Hotel in New York last year. I, too (like the other reviewers) thought it was wonderful until after a few months of wear it started "pilling," that is, making small fuzzballs all over itself. The pilling got so bad that I took it back to the Hilton, where I was told to purchase a "sweater shaver" and shave the pills off. I tried this and it still looked terrible, so I took it back again. THey refused to take it back, continually telling me they'd take it back after a week but never after several months. I kept explaining that high quality pashminas should last years, not months, but it was like banging my head against a wall. I don't believe this was a "real" pashmina. I think it is made of a lower-grade wool.
Moral of story: You are better off spending a bit more if you want a real pashmina, or just buying the really cheap one. Don't waste your money on buying from a company that does not stand behind their product.
