As close to "magic" as a skirt can get... Mar 22, 2010

Where to begin? I bought the long version (also comes in two shorter lengths), and at 5'8", it hits right at/above the ankle, as predicted. The wrap would easily adjust to several sizes; right now I'm a 12, but there's enough material to work on a larger frame, and it would fit smaller sizes without being bulky or swallowing you in fabric. It matched the pictured material, as promised (several more choices available on Jedzebel's website), and came with a simple-to-follow flyer describing 10+ different ways to wrap it, so you have several different looks with just the one skirt. (It was also easy for me to create two more ways to wrap that weren't listed, and I'm definitely not the most coordinated when it comes to being crafty.) I was a little worried when purchasing about fabric and stitching quality, but it's actually quite well-made (though I would recommend washing on gentle cycle) compared to similar skirts I've purchased, and the fabric is soft without being fragile. The ties/straps and buttonhole were especially well-made--double stitches, no loose strings, extra length to accommodate style changes-- and the contrasting material was coordinated well enough to show off the layers without being distracting. I can't recommend it enough, and I plan to buy more colors~~ just as soon as I've tried the dozen different styles I already have!

I absolutely love my magic skirts (I have long and 3/4 lengths)! I plan to get a few more since I've always loved wrap skirts and these are just so versatile. The pamphlet was very helpful but I found some videos on a certain popular personal video site that really helped me discover tons of new ways to wear it. Am I allowed to mention youtube? That's where I found the magic skirt instructional videos.
When I first got them, I got them as skirts but have already worn them in a few of the dress variations. I love how pretty they are but really love how good they feel. The fabric is lovely and I find it to be very comfortable no matter which style I choose.
