The true pashmina is the wool from the neck and the underbelly of the 'Capra Hircus' goat that thrives only in Himalayan plateaus at 12000-14000 feet. The high altitude, the climate, the goat's special genetics together with the food they eat enable it to grow this unbelievably soft, light and silky wool called pashmina. Although it is new to the West, in India and Nepal it has appealed for generations. These are 80% cashmere pashmina shawls, blended with 20% silk for a special soft silky touch and longer life. Shawls come in original bag; with tags attached. The silk blended shawls are sized 76"x32" (190x80 cm) plus 3" (8 cm) fringes on both ends and have recently become more popular worldwide with their attractive look and design.

We selected this shawl for our daughter for Christmas. It was just perfect and we were very pleased. Good quality, elegant feel. Just what our daughter was looking for. We had shopped the local mall but nothing compared to this beautiful shawl. Highly recommend. Great buy!

Bought as a gift, this lovely shawl made a great impression. Price was really a bargain compared to local sources, and I got email assurances when it took longer to arrive than I expected. I will shop Pashmina Club again.

I bought the shawl as a Christmas present, and of course I expected a nice pashmina, so I didn't think to open the packaging and check that everything was okay. Christmas morning and I'm completely embarrassed when my mother tries to put it on, and the sides are completely stitched together. Not to mention, the fabric ripped very easily when we tried to undo the stitches. Very cheaply made. What a rip-off.I received a very nice, handmade pashmina a few years back and I was expecting something similar. This is a total knockoff and an extremely poor one. Now I have to spend precious minutes on CHRISTMAS DAY trying to return the stupid thing and get a refund so I can make amends for my crummy gift. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!

I was so surprised how fast the product has arrived in Brazil. And the shipping cost makes it cheaper to buy from Club Pashimina than any store in Brazil. My friends loved it and are also thinking of buying.
